Student Internship
Our internship program is designed to give students meaningful, real-world exposure to veterinary practice and farm operations.
Interns participate in daily activities including animal examination, treatment procedures, farm visits, and management practices. They learn how to handle animals safely, diagnose conditions, and apply appropriate treatments under supervision.
What we offer
- 4–12 week structured internship placements for veterinary students from Makerere University and other institutions
- Hands-on experience in clinical work, farm visits, surgery, and laboratory diagnostics
- Mentorship from our licensed veterinarians
- Exposure to real Ugandan livestock systems (cattle, small ruminants, and poultry)
- Certificate of completion and recommendation letters for successful interns
